Last week, we hosted our first GP Elevate Alumni Happy Hour organized by the GP Elevate Alumni Engagement Committee.

Sixteen alumni from seven cohorts joined us to connect with graduates from other classes over the common threads they share as leaders in our community. Connections like these are central to GP Elevate and reflect a commitment to development that continues well beyond the program.

As practice leader for our accounting and finance group, Erica has become a trusted resource for clients and candidates alike. Her background as a CPA gives her a deep understanding of the roles she recruits for, and she brings that same knowledge and care to every relationship she builds.

In her new role, Erica will continue to lead our business development efforts and help our team put best practices into action across the firm. She's also investing in her own leadership as a participant in GP Elevate Cohort 17.

GP Elevate's 17th cohort came together for the first time this week.

Each class brings together a different mix of industries and perspectives, and this group includes leaders from manufacturing, engineering, nonprofits, the arts, media and economic development. What they share is a track record of success in their current roles and a clear commitment to what comes next.

Gilman Partners is leading the search for the next Executive Director of 4 Paws For Ability, a Xenia, Ohio-based nonprofit dedicated to placing life-changing service dogs with children with special needs and disabled veterans. Since 1998, more than 2,000 families have welcomed a 4 Paws service dog into their lives, each placement representing independence, safety, and hope.

Due to unforeseen personal circumstances affecting the previously selected candidate, the position has reopened. 4 Paws remains strong and deeply committed to its mission, and the Search Committee is excited to find the right leader to advance this important work.

The next Executive Director will partner with an engaged Board to shape long-term direction, cultivate philanthropic support, and build the community relationships that fuel the organization's continued growth and impact.

We are pleased to announce that Pilot Chemical Company has welcomed Jesse Jefferis as its new Vice President of Growth & Innovation in Cincinnati. Jesse brings nearly 30 years of specialty chemicals experience spanning innovation, R&D, manufacturing, sales and marketing, commercialization, strategic partnerships, and business development. His track record includes building growth strategies, launching innovation that generated significant new revenue, and leading acquisitions and integrations across the specialty chemicals industry. Congratulations to Amber Brown!

Amber, our Director of Talent and Education, has been selected as a speaker at the 2026 NKY Chamber Women's Initiative Regional Summit, taking place November 5 at Northern Kentucky University. The all-day summit draws hundreds of professional women from across Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana, spanning every career stage from young professionals to senior leaders and entrepreneurs.

Amber is a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, and her breakout session, "CliftonStrengths: The Language of Talent," will explore Gallup's CliftonStrengths framework and the four talent domains. Participants will walk away with a better understanding of their natural strengths, an awareness of potential blind spots, and an action plan for applying their strengths with more confidence and intention. No prior CliftonStrengths assessment is required to benefit from the session.
