I’ve had seasons where I thought I knew exactly how the story was supposed to go.

Then God said, “Not that way.” 😂

Some doors closed.

Some plans changed.

Some things took longer than I wanted.

But I’ve also watched Him provide opportunities I couldn’t have planned myself.

So here’s your Monday reminder:

Different doesn’t mean defeated.

Keep building. Keep praying. Keep showing up.

Actually... quite the opposite.

This kitchen has watched me make brownies for wholesale partners, prepare Cake Bars, pack orders, develop new products and figure out what the next version of Cora's Cakery looks like.

We're currently operating from the Incubator Kitchen Collective instead of a traditional walk-in bakery.

That means you order first and select your pickup/delivery option when ordering.

Is this the final chapter?

Nope. 😉

But I'm learning there's nothing wrong with letting people see the middle of the story.

You don't have to disappear while you're building.

I get this question A LOT, so Cake Cousins, let’s talk about it. 😂🤎

Cora’s Cakery currently operates from the Incubator Kitchen Collective in Newport, KY.

We’re an order-based bakery, which means instead of walking into a traditional storefront, you place your order online and select your pickup or delivery information during ordering.

Behind these doors, though?

We’re baking brownies, preparing Cake Bars, filling corporate orders, working with our wholesale partners and building toward something much bigger.

This season may look different from our storefront days…

but the vision certainly didn’t get smaller. 🙌🏾

This is what happens behind the scenes when you order a Cora’s Cakery Brownie Box.

We bake.
We top.
We package.
We pack.
Then your brownies are headed your way. 🙌🏾

And here’s the important part:

📦 Brownie Boxes ship every Tuesday.
⏰ Order by SATURDAY to make the following Tuesday’s shipment.

And apparently…we’ve started putting a few surprises in these boxes too. 👀

Sometimes progress doesn’t look like a huge breakthrough.

Sometimes it looks like showing up again.
Sending another email.
Trying another idea.
Praying another prayer.
Taking one more step when you still can’t see how everything is going to come together.

I’ve learned that I don’t need to have the entire road figured out to keep moving.

I just need enough faith for the next step. 🤎

So if you’re building something, believing for something or starting over in some area of your life…

Keep going.
