General description: Press Department members generally work on the 1st shift and the Garment Tunnel and Press and produces quality hospitality and medical garments. The member(s) can also be assigned different functions in the plant.

Hours: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

General Requirements:
• Lifting requirement; Members are required to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Pushing and Pulling: Members are required to push product carts up to work station to the tunnel or press. Carts vary in weight depending on product type.
• Repetitive twisting, turning, leaning to one side frequently and bending to pick up garments from work cart to feed into ironers.
• Standing: Members are required to stand at their work station and working an 8 hour shift. Members will have two breaks and a lunch.
• Work assignment: Member’s work assignment can be changed based on production requirements.
• Overtime: Members are required to work over time as needed.
• Press department members are certified and required to work as needed in the following areas:
o Double buck
o Tunnel feeding
o Hand fold
o Pants press
A check off list for each function is available. Upon certification, the member and supervisor will sign off to indicate completion. Once certified, members will be required to re-certify every two years.

Specific Production and Quality Requirements:
Member will be trained on tunnel and press equipment operation. Each operation has a set of production requirements and quality standards. Each operation has its own training check(s) before member is certified for the operation. Each check list includes safety, production and quality checks that must be completed before member is considered trained on iron operation.

Job Summary: We are hiring a Front Office Coordinator to join our team! In this position, you will be responsible for the front office, multitasking with many responsibilities. Daily duties include answering a 3-line phone, greeting, checking in and orientating associates for interviews, mailing checks and invoices, entering payroll and adjustments, and daily cleaning of the office. This position is expected to grow into a Staffing Coordinator, which will also entail screening and following up with Associates, filling orders on an as-needed basis and other duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PAYROLL SPECIALIST
• Compile payroll data such as hours worked, taxes, and insurance to be withheld, and employee identification number, from time sheets and other records.
• Enter data into payroll system to compute wages and deductions.
• Post data to payroll records.
• Reviews wage computed and correct errors to ensure accuracy of payroll.
• Record changes affecting net wages such as exemptions, insurance coverage, and loan payments for each employee to update master payroll records.
• Record data concerning transfer of employees between departments.
• Prorate expenses to be debited or credited to each department for cost accounting records.
• Prepare periodic reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions.
• Keep records of leave pay and nontaxable wages.
• Prepare and issues paychecks.

Job Requirements

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE PAYROLL ROLE:
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be proficient in ADP
