If you’re going to take up more space, make it mean something.
Across global retail, the traditional flagship is getting a rethink. Rather than simply adding more locations, some brands are putting greater emphasis on high-impact stores that give shoppers more reasons to step inside and experience the brand.
A fitting example just landed on Fifth Avenue.
Moncler recently opened its largest flagship in the world, spanning nearly 24,000 square feet across two floors in NYC.
Designed with Gilles & Boissier, the space connects Moncler’s mountain heritage with its New York surroundings through natural stone, textured glass, towering architectural elements and curated artwork.
It’s an interesting look at where flagships may be headed → stores designed to do more than ever for the brands behind them.
