I saw a post knocking Tribute Bands here's my 2 cents.

Their are some outstanding tribute bands that are tight and excellent out their making gobs of money. The only fallback is your on the road all the time and your personnel life is on the back burner or may even crumble. The history of rock can never be repeated, only copied. You can hear it in new originals everywhere. The key is making music that appeals to the masses, not a small section. If you want to rap fck all the time in your music (which was popular for a short time) then you are appealing to a small sector. I professionally compose music as a hobby and like it that way as I still have a life. The moral of the story is change it up if it's not working. But beware, nowadays everybody is making music on their laptops using all virtual instruments which I call disappointing. Theirs nothing better than the human touch of real instruments. Just my 2 cents. Take or leave it. Cheers!
