You won't regret the risk. You'll regret the years you spent thinking about taking it.

More leads ≠ more drivers.
More conversations = more drivers.

You’re already paying for the leads. Why not maximize them?

More conversations → more drivers → more trucks on the road.
Stop buying more leads. Start converting the ones you have.

In my building era.

12 steps to hire a driver. 1 slow department breaks all of them.

Safety takes an extra day, you lose drivers. Trucks aren't ready, drivers leave.

Stop calling it a recruiting problem. It's a company problem wearing a recruiting badge.

Why your Craigslist and Indeed
CDL driver ads are failing 📝

Trucking recruiting reality: Your job ads look like homework and CDL-A drivers scroll right past them.

The problem:
❌ Wall of text paragraphs
❌ No visual appeal
❌ Impossible to scan quickly
❌ Boring format

The fix for semi truck driver recruiting:
✅ Hook them in the first line
✅ Break it up with bullet points
✅ Short sentences with white space
✅ Make it scannable

Human attention span online: 2 seconds to stop them, 10 seconds to sell. That's it.

Stop writing essays. Start writing ads that convert.

People ask how long I’ve been doing this. I tell them to look at my son.

Every year of his life matched a year I spent breaking and rebuilding how recruiting works. Remote teams. My own agency. Watching this industry waste money on the same mistakes over and over.

I didn’t get handed a system. I built one, the hard way, one bad hire at a time.

Now fleet owners get the shortcut I never had.

Why agency recruiters outperform in-house trucking recruiters (and how to fix it) 🎯

The brutal truth about CDL-A recruiting: Agency recruiters are laser-focused specialists while your in-house recruiter is drowning in chaos.

Agency recruiters:
✅ Only focus on recruiting calls
✅ Leads provided to them
✅ Multiple backup companies (A, B, C, D)
✅ Specialized in one task

In-house recruiters:
❌ Pulling MVRs, scheduling drug tests
❌ Calling clinics, booking flights
❌ Driver retention tasks
❌ Spread across 12+ platforms
❌ Trying to generate their own leads

Semi truck recruiting reality: Agency recruiters make more money because they're specialists. In-house recruiters are generalists drowning in non-recruiting tasks.

The solution? Give your in-house team the focus and systems they need to compete.

Comment what position you'd rather work - agency or in-house recruiter?
