McNair Scholars Program - DePaul University

McNair Scholars Program - DePaul University Established at the university in 1999, the McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program is one of two federal TRIO programs at DePaul.

The McNair program prepares carefully selected undergraduate students who are from low-income and/or first-generation college families, or who are members of underrepresented groups, for doctoral study and faculty careers. It is a challenging program that provides opportunities for undergraduate research and faculty mentoring along with intensive advising and assistance with the graduate school admission process.

The close of the 2019-2020 academic year has proven to be anything from ordinary but time and time again, our McNair Scholars have exhibited immense resiliency during this time of uncertainty. Their positive attitudes, determination, and willingness to adapt to remote learning have undoubtedly increased their ability to thrive in the graduate programs and career opportunities awaiting them this summer and fall. As we embark onward, we are excited to see what the future holds for each of our Scholars. Congratulations DePaul McNair Scholars, Class of 2020! You did it!! 🎉🥳
