Do you have a heart for youth and a passion for creating change?

We're looking for a dedicated, compassionate individual to serve as a live-in Foster Parent for youth (ages 12–18) in a trauma-informed, community-based residential program. You'll live in the home 3-4 days a week, providing structure, care, and stability in a nurturing, family-style setting.

🏡 What You'll Do:

Care for up to 4 youth in a supportive, therapeutic environment

Promote emotional, academic, and social growth

Be a consistent, positive role model

Collaborate with a full treatment team

Receive training in our trauma-informed, evidence-based Family Teaching Model

Hi Mavens,

I’ve shared in a video previously how I have A LOT of experience with rejection.

My sales career definitely prepared me for entrepreneurship because I get told no, wait, not right now, all the time, but it doesn’t faze me the way it used to (I still hate to hear those words though).

We have authority to take back the power and the negative emotions that rejection brings, and I am speaking from personal experience that what I am about to share, WORKS.

🔑Rejection is redirection.
🔑When one door is closed A BETTER on opens. No, it’s TRUE.
🔑What can we take from this moment? What can we learn?

Constant rejection will make you want to throw in the towel. But you just can’t give up. Don’t allow the sting of rejection to kill you from hoping for more and working for more.

🔑You get to choose how you overcome!

Here’s to pushing through, and redefining what rejection means to you.

Happy Monday Mavens!

We want many things in life, a new job/promotion, a bigger home, a fulfilling relationship, internal peace and joy, true happiness, riches, purpose, the list goes on. Often, we don’t have the proper posture to receive what we desire, and we stand in the way of receiving!

Believe it or not everything we desire starts with our mindset and what we believe is possible.

Remove the following limiting beliefs..

“It’s too hard to start over”
“I can’t do this”
“Nothing ever works out for me”
“I don’t think I’m good enough, or smart enough”
“I am not that strong”
“I don’t deserve this”
“Maybe my time has passed”
“I’m too old, too young”
“I don’t have what they have”
“I have never seen anyone rich in my family”
“Why me?”

These subconscious beliefs will ALWAYS derail you from experiencing the best life has to offer you!

Start removing this scarcity mindset and start making room for the abundance that is freely available to you, if you’re open and ready to receive.

I’ll admit I don’t really watch sports like I used to, but I still live for a good match up when I can catch one. I have so much respect for athletics because it builds such amazing character.

I have been following Coach Prime for years, so when he started coaching college football, I was excited for the journey. There was no way I was going to miss this game.

I walked away from that game amped because for me, it was messages being deposited in my mental and spirit that resonated with my life.

Know who you are. Coach Prime’s demeanor never changed even though it looked like they were going to lose. He stood firm until the end. His confidence and self-awareness are inspiring.

Don’t be swayed by naysayers or doubters. It was SO much fanfare and hoopla around CU and AS SOON as the team started making mistakes the fans became quiet and looked absolutely defeated BEFORE the game was over. Look- We have doubters around us called friends and loved ones who get quiet when they don’t see us “winning” or “gaining”. Don’t allow them to make you doubt yourself!

Regardless of the opposition, the silence, the hits, the bumps, the unnecessary roughness, and the odds being stacked against you, keep running to your goal(s).

Stay humble, and don’t give up!

How many of you had someone you know personally, or someone you knew of pass away recently?

For me it was at least 4 people, and only 1 was elderly.

One thing we know for certain is that we’re on borrowed time.

The question you must ask yourself is, what do you want to make of the time you have right now?

Regardless of what life has been like for you up until today, if you’re still here you have the power and authority to change the trajectory of your life.

We have been equipped with the tools we need to change our lives. Some of us have done a better job of tapping into it, but everyone has them nonetheless.
