"We pay detention" means nothing until you ask three follow-ups.

Weak policy → starts after 3 hrs · rate "case by case" · capped at 4 hrs · signed BOL only
Strong policy → starts after 1–2 hrs · $20–$30/hr in writing · no cap · app or photo timestamp accepted

Those are the same questions we ask every carrier before we send them a single driver.

Sitting three unpaid hours twice a week is roughly $4,000–$6,000 a year out of your pocket.

👉 Not sure where your carrier lands? DM us the policy and we'll read it with you.

Parking is the second job nobody pays you for.

What works:
📍 Book your last two stops before your first delivery, not after
📍 Chain truck stops fill by 5pm — rest areas fill by 7
📍 Shippers and receivers will often let you sit if you ask at the desk, not the gate
📍 Industrial parks near your morning appointment beat a 40-mile backtrack
📍 Screenshot the lot before you sleep — tow disputes are won with timestamps

💬 What's your best-kept parking spot? (Or is that classified?) 👇

You shouldn't need a second job to find your first one.

Job boards give you 400 listings and zero answers. We do the opposite: we ask carriers the hard questions before your name ever comes up.

What we check on every opening:
✅ Real average weekly miles, last month, not last year
✅ Truck age and how fast the shop actually turns repairs
✅ Detention, layover and stop pay in writing
✅ Whether home time is guaranteed or "as available"

What we place: OTR, regional, local, re**er, owner-operator and lease purchase. Dispatch support too.

One conversation. We'll tell you honestly what your experience is worth in this market, even if we don't have the right seat for you today.

Drivers are starting to ask AI where to work. Most carriers are invisible in that answer.

AI-powered search is changing how carriers get discovered online, and carriers that optimize for AI discovery now will hold a real visibility advantage as adoption accelerates.

Here's the uncomfortable part. When a driver asks an AI assistant "best re**er carriers hiring in Illinois," the answer is assembled from:
→ your careers page copy (is your pay structure actually written down?)
→ third-party reviews and driver forums
→ job boards and structured job postings
→ recent, specific content — not brochure language

If your web presence is a phone number and a stock photo of a truck, you don't exist in that answer.

This is the recruiting channel nobody has budgeted for yet. Which is exactly why it's cheap right now.

Every recruiter pulls your work history. Here's what they see.

We review driver applications daily. Three or more carriers in 18 months triggers a conversation — not a rejection, a conversation. The drivers who get through it do one thing well: they explain the pattern before we ask.

"The first fleet promised 2,500 miles and gave me 1,600. The second sat me in a 2016 truck that was in the shop nine days a month. I'm not looking for perfect, I'm looking for consistent."

That's a strong answer. It's specific, it's verifiable, and it tells us exactly what to match you to.

What kills applications is vagueness: "it didn't work out." That reads as risk.

Drivers — bring receipts, not excuses. Carriers — if three drivers in a row left for the same reason, the pattern isn't the drivers.

Four re**er mistakes that turn into a claim. 🥶

1️⃣ Not pulping the product at pickup. No temp reading = no defense later.
2️⃣ Continuous vs. cycle-sentry set wrong for the commodity
3️⃣ Pre-cooling the trailer? Good. Pre-cooling with the doors open? You just cooled Kansas.
4️⃣ Ignoring the download. Your re**er keeps a record, so print it before you sign.

Re**er pays more for a reason: it's less forgiving. Get the habits right and it's the best-paying freight most drivers can access without going flatbed.

We run a dedicated re**er division. If you're running dry van and curious what re**er would actually pay you, DM us and we'll show you real numbers.

We don't send drivers to seats we can't keep filled. So we ask first.

Carriers who can answer these fill seats faster than any job board will fill them, because we can put real numbers in front of a driver instead of adjectives. Drivers have been lied to enough; specifics are what close them.

If you can answer all four, we should talk.

Nobody warns you that the hardest part of trucking isn't the driving.

It's the 11 hours of sitting, the truck stop menu, and the sleep that never fully counts.

Four things drivers actually stick to:
✅ Walk one full lap of the lot at every stop. That's it. One lap.
✅ Water in the cup holder, soda in the fridge — reverse the default
✅ Same sleep window every day, even off-duty
✅ Blood pressure cuff in the truck. $30. Protects your CDL.

Your med card is your career. Treat it like your CDL.

💬 What's the one habit that stuck for you? 👇

MYTH: Lease purchase is always a trap.
FACT: Bad lease purchase is a trap. The structure isn't the problem, the math is.

Green flags 🟩
• You see the truck's full maintenance history before signing
• Fixed weekly payment, clearly stated
• You can walk away without owing a balloon
• Escrow is refundable and documented

Red flags 🟥
• Forced dispatch plus lease payments
• Payment tied to a load count you don't control
• No written buyout number
• Nobody will show you what last quarter's drivers actually netted

We run an owner-operator and lease purchase division — and we say no to programs that fail the green-flag test.

👉 Thinking about going O/O? DM us and we'll walk your numbers with you. Free.

Good news for drivers: the market is tilting your way. 📈

Three things happening at once in 2026:
• Freight demand is recovering faster than driver supply
• The qualified-driver pipeline keeps tightening (regulatory changes + drivers leaving the market)
• US unemployment is 4.4% historically; above 4% is where hiring gets hard for fleets

Translation: every qualified CDL holder is worth more this year than last year.

So if you've been sitting on a bad offer because "the market is slow," that excuse expired.

💬 Have you been offered more this year than last? Yes or no in the comments.
