Big equipment, lots of candy, and some seriously awesome costumes! AGC of Wyoming had a great time being part of Treat Street in Gillette, giving kids a chance to check out the equipment that helps build our communities while grabbing some Halloween treats along the way.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this a fun event for the Gillette community. We’re proud to support events that bring our industry and communities together, one piece of equipment (and one piece of candy) at a time!

What a great opportunity to show our Cheyenne community the people and equipment that help build it! AGC of Wyoming was proud to participate in the Wild West Trunk or Treat, in partnership with the Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum.

From big machines to hands-on fun (and a little sugar-fueled excitement!), events like these give kids a chance to explore the tools of the trade, meet the people behind the work, and hopefully spark some excitement in the next generation of builders.

AGC of Wyoming members traded their hard hats for fishing rods yesterday at our annual AGC Fall Fishing Derby in Thermopolis!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for a day of fishing and friendly competition. We’re proud to host events that bring our construction industry together while supporting the next generation of Wyoming’s workforce, with net proceeds benefiting scholarships for students pursuing careers in the construction trades.

A special thank-you to everyone who participated, our fishing guides from Wyoming Adventures, and those who helped make this event a success.

Great turnout in Thermopolis last night! AGC of Wyoming members gathered at the One Eyed Buffalo for an evening of networking, camaraderie, and celebrating our industry.

We also brought along our AGC of America trophies so members could join us in celebrating AGC of Wyoming’s recent national achievements! These awards represent the hard work and dedication of our entire membership, and we’re proud to share the recognition with the people who helped make it happen.

What a great night in Casper!

We had approximately 70 AGC of Wyoming members and guests join us for last night’s AGC Member Social, enjoying a great evening of networking, conversation, and connecting with others in Wyoming’s construction industry.

Meet Aunnie and her mom, Tishia! 👋✨

Imagine having to push your daughter’s wheelchair through gravel, rocks, and mud every single day just to get her to the school bus. That was Tishia’s reality. Because the bus could only pick-up at the front of their house, which wasn’t wheelchair accessible, she had to navigate a grueling path from the backyard all the way around the corner to the sidewalk. Even the sidewalk was tough terrain to overcome due to overgrown grass and weeds.

It was not easy doing this every day. Tishia knew this wouldn’t be feasible once the snow came. They desperately needed help.

But this isn't where Aunnie's story with the Olivia Caldwell Foundation started...

Roughly two years ago, Tishia initially connected with our Family Support Director, Eileen, hoping to have a backyard ramp built from their house to the garage. Thanks to the incredible generosity of the Wyoming Associated General Contractors—who donated ALL labor and materials—we built a backyard ramp giving Aunnie easy access to the garage and driveway! 🛠️💪

Unfortunately, the battle wasn't over. Getting to the front sidewalk for the bus became a massive struggle. After daily difficulties of trudging through the conditions, Tishia reached out to us again, hoping for a miracle.

Unfailingly, our community stepped up to make a dream come true. Through our Built to Care Program, we were able to fully fund and build a beautiful, accessible front yard ramp!

A HUGE THANK YOU goes out to the amazing team that made this project possible:

🏗️ Caspar Building Systems for donating labor and building a beautiful, impactful ramp
🤝 United Way of Natrona County for helping fund this initiative

Because of the generosity of these organizations and members of our community, Aunnie can now get to the bus safely, and Tishia can breathe a sigh of relief. We are endlessly grateful to everyone who helped make this wish a reality. You didn't just build a ramp—you changed lives! 💛

🚧 Future builders in action! 🦺

Today, we teamed up with Gillette College and Milwaukee Tool to host an equipment rodeo for high school students from Campbell County! Students got a firsthand look at the equipment, skills, and career opportunities waiting for them in Wyoming’s construction industry after graduation.

From the classroom to the cab, the future of Wyoming construction is looking bright!
