Duties and Responsibilities

-Work with the therapy client in the client’s home and/or the community setting.
-Follow all steps of behavior intervention and skill acquisition programs as outlined in the client’s provided technology and software programs to collect data throughout each therapy session
-Review session data with supervising BCBA
-Be directly supervised by a BCBA weekly; integrate BCBA feedback into service delivery
-Maintain client safety
-Help to grow the ABA Program by assisting clients as much as possible to support progress and growth of our clients.
-Create/prepare therapy materials, as needed/directed by BCBA
-Participate in parent education sessions, as needed
-Participate in staff meetings, as needed
-Perform other relevant duties as necessary as assigned by the BCBA and/or Manager of ABA Services

Requirements

-Valid State of Michigan’s Driver’s License and current auto insurance
-Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or willingness to obtain RBT certification (Attendant Care Services will provide approved 40-hour RBT training sequence)
-Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification

Attendant Care recently opened an ABA Therapy Program and we are looking to grow our team! The Behavior Technician works directly with an individual with Autism Spectrum Disorder by following treatment and/or behavior intervention plans designed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The behavior technician works under the direct supervision of a BCBA.
