Wise Staffing is looking for an entry level welder.
Job Description:

As an Entry-Level you will be responsible for assisting in the fabrication and repair of metal components and structures. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn and develop their welding skills while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Welding: Perform basic welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding techniques under the guidance of experienced welders.
Preparation: Prepare metal surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, or cutting as needed.
Blueprint Reading: Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand welding specifications.
Safety: Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment.
Maintenance: Maintain welding equipment and tools, performing basic maintenance and reporting any issues.
Quality Control: Inspect welds for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to complete projects efficiently and to meet production deadlines.
Learning: Take advantage of training opportunities and seek guidance from more experienced welders to develop skills and advance in the role.
Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a welding program or vocational training is a plus.
Skills: Basic understanding of welding techniques and safety procedures. Hands-on experience through internships or vocational training is preferred.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy materials, and work in various environmental conditions.
