As a local company here in Charleston, SC, one thing we’re most proud of isn’t just the work we do—it’s the team we’ve built.

This business doesn’t run without great people. The crews out there getting it done every day, our managers keeping everything moving, and our clients who trust us with their properties… it all matters.

My wife Kim, who handles all of our H2B staffing, was out visiting crews, making sure everything is running smooth and checking in with the team, and delivering some lunch. That kind of involvement makes a difference.

And riding along with her was my 2-year-old son Maverick, who thought he had the best seat in the house on the mower with the guys.

That’s what this is about for me—building something local, building something real, and being around people who care about what they do.

To our team—thank you for showing up every day and putting in the work.

To our clients—thank you for trusting us.

We don’t take any of it for granted.

🎳 Wrapping Up Summer with the CGM Team! 🌿

Today we celebrated the end of another busy summer season with some bowling, laughs, and great company. It’s always nice to step away from the day-to-day and spend time with the people who make Charleston Grounds what it is.

We handed out prizes for things like Best Dressed, Most improved, Key Player and Tenure Awards, but the real reward was just seeing everyone together enjoying the afternoon.

A special shout-out to our H2B team members who are heading home soon — thank you for all your hard work, long days, and dedication this season!

As the owner, I’m truly proud of this team. Every single person — from the crews in the field, the account managers and to the office staff— plays a part in what we’ve built together.

At Charleston Grounds Management, we take pride in maintaining some of Charleston’s most beautiful commercial properties. We’re looking for a Landscape Maintenance Foreman to lead one of our professional crews and ensure every property meets the highest standards of quality and care.

What You’ll Do:
✅ Lead and motivate a landscape maintenance crew daily
✅ Operate commercial mowing, edging, and trimming equipment safely and efficiently
✅ Maintain clean, professional, and safe job sites
✅ Communicate clearly with Account Managers and team members
✅ Train and guide crew members to meet company standards

Work Environment:
🌤 Work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions — heat, cold, sun, and rain
🌿 Enjoy being active and working in the fresh air every day

Requirements:
🚘 Valid Driver’s License (Required) must meet insurance requirements.
💪 2–3 years of commercial landscape maintenance experience preferred
🌿 Ability to lead and motivate a team
🕓 Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

We had a great afternoon with our Charleston Grounds Management crew teaching a 4K class how to plant trees at their school today. The kids jumped right in — learning about roots, soil, and how trees grow strong with care and patience.

It’s moments like these that remind us how important it is to invest in our community and inspire the next generation to love the outdoors. 🌱
