🎓 Internship Opportunity for Allen County Youth!

Thrive Allen County is seeking youth interns for the 2026–2027 school year. This opportunity is open to Allen County high school seniors and Allen Community College students looking to gain valuable real-world work experience while making a difference in their community.

💼 2 hours/day
💰 $10–$15/hour

Interns will have the opportunity to engage, empower and support youth throughout Allen County while developing workplace skills.

USD #484 is looking for substitute teachers to join our team!

If you’re looking for a flexible way to earn supplemental income while making a difference, substitute teaching may be a great fit. Choose your own schedule, select the classrooms you want to work in, connect with amazing educators, expand your skillset, and gain valuable experience that could even lead to a full-time position. Most importantly, you’ll support our schools, make an impact on students, learn a lot about kids and yourself, and have some fun along the way!

FIRST-TIME APPLICANTS

You may qualify for an Emergency Substitute Teacher License through one of two pathways:

• College Credit Pathway — Have a minimum of 60 semester credit hours from a regionally accredited college or university.

• Greenbush Training Pathway — Don’t have 60 college credit hours? You may qualify by completing the Greenbush Emergency Substitute Training Modules. Learn more and get started at plus.greenbush.org.

Already licensed? Individuals with a valid Emergency Substitute Teacher License or a Standard Substitute Teaching License (previously held a teacher’s license) can be added to USD #484’s substitute list.

Ready to get started? Visit the USD #484 Board of Education Office at 300 N. 6th Street in Fredonia. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. and 1:00–4:00 p.m.
