Immediate openings for Assembly Technicians. Must be detail-oriented and have some basic computer skills (will perform some data entry). Duties will include stripping and crimping electrical wires, using hand tools (such as screw drivers, drill press, saws, hand drills) and soldering. Will train some entry-level applicants. The positions are on the 1st shift Monday- Friday from 7 am -3:30 pm plus possible overtime as assigned. Pay is $15.00 per hour with opportunity to advance. This is a temp-to-hire position with a great benefits package once you are hired on permanently!

Below are the requirements:

-Recent verifiable production work history in a manufacturing environment required
-Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, walk and climb stairs
-Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a repetitive basis
-Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch – will be tested in interview.
-Must have ability to read and write in English – will be required to follow written instructions and diagrams / technical prints in English
-Must have basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Word

Position will be responsible for and capable of planning and performing a wide range of machining characteristics. ability to read and understand blueprints, lift 5-50 pounds be safety orientated, bend, twist, stand on feet 8-10 hours a day, work independently, use appropriate gauging and instruments, report defective material.
