When you dine at Mike’s this month, you can support our students by asking your server to make a donation to RSA. You can also visit the Snoopy Museum inside the restaurant to contribute.

Your support helps young adults with special needs build independence, develop job skills and gain valuable real-world experience.

Just yesterday, our HOME Hub team was hard at work planning, prepping and packaging… and today, those same boxed lunches were served at the Michigan State Capitol in Lansing for National Charter Day 🍴

From behind-the-scenes prep to being part of a statewide celebration, this is what real-world skill building looks like—following timelines, working as a team and delivering on something bigger than themselves.

All in support of Rising Stars Academy, who is there representing AND serving—bringing it full circle from prep to plate.

At Godfrey Hotel Detroit, our HOME Hub participants are stepping confidently into the kitchen—prepping ingredients, mastering culinary skills and taking pride in every detail.

These moments may look simple, but they represent something BIG: Growing independence, real-world experience and the confidence to succeed in inclusive workplaces.

Through the HOME Hub program, operated by the RSA Foundation, participants with intellectual and developmental disabilities gain hands-on job training, life skills and the opportunity to be active, valued members of their community.

We’re so grateful to partners like the Godfrey who don’t just open their doors—they create opportunities that truly matter. 💙
