Job Description
Kelli's Gift Shop Suppliers, located in Carrollton, TX, is seeking highly motivated individuals to help take their distribution center to the next level. Kelli’s is a family-owned, wholesale distributor, providing exceptional customer service and product to hospital gift shops. Established over 18 years ago, Kelli’s seeks hardworking, honest, motivated individuals to help them continue their growth and success. Kelli’s distribution center is a fast-paced, multi-shift, climate-controlled operation! Immediate employment opportunities are available for Assemblers.
HOURS:
Monday thru Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Overtime as required, including occasional Saturday
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with the understanding that Safety is Kelli’s first priority
Understand and obey company policies, directions, and procedures.
Recognize letters, numbers, and colors.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability and willingness to work and cross in other departments as necessary.
Prior Assembly experience preferred.
Perform basic math operations ( addition, subtraction, multiplication & division ).
Understand and follow both verbal and written assembly instructions to build the necessary products.
Work with speed and accuracy to keep the process and products moving as quickly as possible while maintaining high quality and high production while meeting safety standards.
Perform other necessary processes and/or duties in a cooperative manner when assigned by the supervisor and/or manager.
Learn different line jobs to be able to fill a variety of positions as needed.
Perform repetitive motion including squeezing hand, lifting, walking, standing, and/or bending throughout the work shift.
Climb on a ladder and/or crawl under a rack to get the necessary components.
Keep the workstation cleaned and organized.
Operate manual or auto tail machine, bow machine, glue gun, and/or balloon machine if deemed necessary.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent
Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized and positive warehouse environment
Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
Ability to work full-time, 40+ hours per week
Attention to detail
Ability to work on your feet all-day
