First Shift Position
Title: Document Processor
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred; knowledge of postal and Federal policies, statutes, procedures, and regulations; ability to demonstrate supervisory and leadership skills; knowledge of and experience overseeing mail operations; knowledge of computer operations as it relates to mail services; excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment; ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously; and ability to work as a team member, as well as independently. Employment is contingent upon successful clearance of criminal and child abuse background checks and an absence of affiliations with Office of Long-Term Living (OLTL) providers.
JOB OVERVIEW: The Document Processing Admin assists in the process of completing applicant eligibility and enrollment from start to finish supporting the PA Independent Enrollment team and the applicants
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Assisting in the process of completing applicant eligibility and enrollment from start to finish supporting the PA Independent Enrollment team and the applicants
•Utilizing multiple systems to move the application forward in the enrollment process
•Updating applications and clear documenting of all steps in the process.
•Ensuring our applicants and supporting agencies are receiving the best level of customer service possible
•Assists Document Processing Team in meeting or exceeding established Quality Control Performance expectations
•Reviews incoming documentation from Physicians, Area Agencies on Aging and Enrollment Brokers for completeness
•Transfers documentation with cover sheet to Agency Support Coordinators within three days of applicant selections
•Receives, sorts, and logs incoming and outgoing mail, Logs returned packets and letters with bad address flag
•Batches incoming mail by document type and distributes internal mail and documents to the appropriate staff
•Operates mailing machines, copiers, fax machines, and postage meters. Prepares and mails documents and materials upon request or direction Verifies accuracy of mailings on a daily basis
•Reports any issues, concerns, and/or problems to the Document Processing Supervisor
•Provides application copies within four days of initial intake appointments
•Maintains current and accurate control documentation of all printed materials, notices, and packets
•Maintains responsibility for all scanning functions (if desired by the Department)
•Performs other duties as assigned by management
