To acknowledge and show support during Sexual Assault Awareness Month, The Family Justice Center staff is showing up in our Denim today to bring awareness to this serious issue.

Denim Day is more than just wearing jeans. It is about making a statement of solidarity with survivors of sexual and domestic violence. 💙By wearing denim, we’re saying we believe survivors, we support them, and we are committed to creating a safer, more respectful community for everyone.

Today, our FJC staff had the opportunity to attend Elon University’s CARE-nival event! 🎪

We were proud to be on campus providing information and resources about domestic violence, helping raise awareness and connect students with support services. Events like these are an important reminder that education and community partnerships play a key role in prevention and empowerment.

The Family Justice Center was fortunate to be able to host the Institute on Strangulation Prevention thanks to an OVW grant to train Alamance County professionals on the dangers of strangulation and domestic violence.
