Responsibilities
Pick and prepare orders using RF scanners and systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, cranes, and other heavy machinery safely and effectively
Load and unload shipments with precision, adhering to safety protocols and OSHA standards
Manage materials handling tasks including heavy lifting, stacking, and organizing inventory within the warehouse
Conduct shipping and receiving activities, verifying shipments against documentation and updating warehouse management systems
Assist with construction or maintenance tasks as needed to support warehouse operations
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in the workspace by following proper procedures for heavy equipment operation and materials handling
Requirements
Prior experience in warehouse distribution or related fields such as construction or materials handling is highly preferred
Demonstrated ability to operate forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment safely (certifications are a plus)
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, OSHA safety standards, and mechanical knowledge beneficial
Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while maintaining proper safety techniques
Strong attention to detail during order picking, shipping & receiving processes, and inventory management
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors effectively
Previous warehouse supervisor experience or leadership roles are advantageous but not required
