s controller and chief financial officer, 10 years as manufacturing operations manager in the plastics and waste water treatment industry, and 5 years as chief credit officer. Kathleen Faulhaber, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, has been involved in the financial industry for over 15 years, working as an account executive and financial advisor. Plant Manager Paul Myers has been managing facilities and projects for more than 30 years, ranging from simple machine layouts to multi-million dollar projects. HGgroup of Companies operates out of three buildings in WNY: 48,000 sq. in Buffalo. We have 50,000 sq. in Buffalo that is clean space for food grade applications. Some customers that we have solid business relationships with are Delphi, Sonwil Distribution, Kuehne & Nagel, Shuman Plastics and, recently, Rich Products (to name a few). HGgroup of Companies is HUBZone certified and employs 55% of our workforce from economically challenged areas. We have been servicing manufacturers in WNY through recycling, warehousing, destruction, and fulfillment since 2007. At the heart of our companies is our desire to create closed-loop recycling programs for businesses, institutions, and governments throughout western NY, thereby minimizing the amount of waste deposited in landfills. We do so by converting post-industrial plastic scrap, purges, parts, and runners into useable material for some other industry or, if possible, the generator of the scrap. We process corrugated, film, metal, food and non-food scrap, as well as off code and liquid materials. At the same time, we strive to supplement our clients many other needs, providing kitting and fulfillment services, warehousing and distribution, and even temporary staffing and equipment rental services.
