WAREHOUSE NIGHT SELECTOR NEEDED (Boston)
compensation: $17.65/hr
employment type: full-time
Looking for candidates that speak/write English (other languages is a plus), that has own transportation, reliable, responsible, not afraid of working long hours, most importantly that has work experience driving ELECTRIC pallet jacks and forklifts, licensed the better. The job is from Monday to Sunday night (Saturday night off and Friday is considered overtime so you get paid time and half), hours are from 6 pm till work is done. The job is in the Boston area. Description
Primary Responsibilities:

* Accurately select orders for outbound delivery.
* Place selected products on pallet(s) efficiently.
* Operate equipment (electric "ride-on" pallet jack) and perform all duties in a safe, efficient and productive manner. Must be able to pass OSHA equipment certification tests for power jack.
* Labeling product for delivery.
* Shrink wrap orders as required
* Maintain an Individual percentage of errors and productivity level.
* Lifting up to 1000 cases+ per shift up to a weight limit maximum of 50 lbs.
* Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements:
* Must be able to work nights.
* Must be literate in English (read and write) and be able to perform basic arithmetic.
* Previous Food service or distribution experience preferred.
* Must demonstrate personal integrity and reliability characteristics.
* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.
* Previous operation of powered industrial equipment. (ride-on pallet jack) a must !
* Must be able to work in a Multi --Temp warehouse ranging from sub --zero to the ambient temperature of the outdoors for the entire shift without restrictions.

Conditions:
* Exposure to multi-temperatures, hot, cold, ambient
* Exposure to dust, fumes. water/wet cases
* Industrialized warehouse conditions
* Physical: Walking, standing, reaching above shoulder level, stooping, lifting, carrying, bending at waist and pivoting.
