Biolinq, a San Diego, CA-based healthcare technology company, raised $58M in funding.

The round was led by Alpha Wave Ventures, with participation from Niterra’s corporate venture capital fund jointly operated with Pegasus Tech Ventures and existing investors RiverVest Venture Partners, AXA IM Alts, Global Health Investment Corporation, Aphelion Capital, Senvest Management, LLC, Features Capital, and Taisho Pharmaceutical Holding Co Ltd.

The company intends to use the funds to support completion of a U.S. pivotal clinical trial this year, evaluating its proprietary intradermal glucose sensor, and subsequent FDA submission.

Neurava Inc. announced that it completed an oversubscribed seed financing round worth proceeds of $2.26 million. Indianapolis-based company developed a novel wearable device for mitigating the risk of sudden unexpected death in epilepsy (SUDEP).

Life Science Angels led the round, which also featured a second strategic investment from UCB. Purdue Innovates, Elevate Ventures, Rivermount Ventures, and First Leaf Capital also participated.
