Hosted by Everett Community College, the 2026 AMTEC Manufacturing Day Tour gave students a hands-on look at the skills, technology, and career pathways powering aerospace, advanced manufacturing, and the future workforce right here in Snohomish County.

📊 By the Numbers:
• 400+ students from across 21 schools
• 84% rated the event highly
• 62% could imagine themselves in a manufacturing job
• 42% indicated strong likelihood of attending AMTEC
• 33% increase in knowledge of manufacturing jobs

Through direct conversations with industry professionals, interactive demonstrations, and a behind-the-scenes look at training pathways, students explored how classroom learning connects to high-demand careers in manufacturing and beyond.

This FSPCA standardized curriculum equips you to:
• Prepare, write, and update animal food safety plans (21 CFR Part 507)
• Qualify as a Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI)

Upon completion, you’ll earn an FSPCA Certificate of Training, recognized by the FDA and required for individuals overseeing animal food safety plans.

Who should attend: Food safety leaders, plant managers, QA teams, supervisors, and anyone responsible for compliance and safety planning in animal food manufacturing.

This workshop is low-cost and subsidized by Impact Washington and the Washington State Department of Agriculture, and delivered in collaboration with TRIDEC - Tri-City Development Council.

We are proud to participate in the Japan Trade Mission led by WA Secretary of State Steve Hobbs, joining a statewide delegation focused on strengthening global collaboration across aerospace and advanced manufacturing.

Japan plays a critical role in the global aerospace supply chain, and this mission is centered on building long‑term relationships, and advancing technical collaboration and connections that help Washington manufacturers succeed in increasingly global markets.

We will be represented on the ground in Japan by Maddie Merton, Account Executive, supporting direct engagement with industry partners and stakeholders and bringing insights back to inform our work with manufacturers across Washington.
