Greater Conshohocken BPW is a local, dynamic and diverse group of individuals. We welcome women and men of all walks of life and levels of employment. We believe that unity is the strength needed to achieve our goals. We encourage and support members' personal and professional growth. We are also BPW District, State and National Foundation members. Greater Conshohocken BPW has been around since 1949, helping women from all walks of life and levels of employment. With over 80% member retention, we focus on building and maintaining relationships between our members and within our community. For 65 years, we have been a part of the BPW tradition of helping women through growth and change for women in the workplace. Membership in our local organization also entitles you to become part of the National, State, and District levels, making us one of the largest organizations for working women in the world. BPW programs and projects enable women to acquire skills and knowledge beneficial to their careers and personal lives. Peer Support – We take you seriously and your needs are our #1 concern. Networking – You have the opportunity to build invaluable contacts with other working women. Education – Various programs provide a wealth of knowledge in all matters pertaining to women. Political Awareness – BPW keeps you abreast of legislative issues critical to women. The Political Actional Committee (PAC) supports women/pro-women candidates locally. Individual Development Course – A course designed to develop leadership and interviewing skills, public speaking and networking tools. Young Careerist – A program designed to recognize the achievements of young working women. Scholarship – BPW Foundation and BPW/PA provide scholarships to both undergraduate and graduate students. Community Involvement – Area services including local women’s shelters, the Montgomery County Community College scholarship and the Plymouth Whitemarsh High School Award. Monthly Meetings

We meet every 4th Monday of the Month (September through June) at various local restaurants.

The Capitol All-Stars Softball Game is back! Benefitting Hunger-Free Pennsylvania and Feeding Pennsylvania, this bi-partisan, slow-pitch softball game is played by two teams, the Yinz and the Youse, made up of state Representatives and Senators, Republicans and Democrats, and men and women.

MCIU’s Early Intervention Program is Seeking an Itinerant Teacher and a Long-Term Substitute Occupational Therapist to Join Our Team!

Itinerant Teacher: This position provides classroom instruction and support services to children ages 3–5 years old. Position begins July 6, 2026.

Qualifications:
🔹 Valid Pennsylvania certification in Special Education (PK–12, PK–8, or N–12) required
🔹 Additional Pennsylvania certification in Early Childhood Education (PK–4) preferred

Long-Term Substitute Occupational Therapist: This position helps children ages 3–5 years old develop the skills they need to be successful in school and throughout their lives. Position begins August 24, 2026.

Qualifications:
🔹 Valid Pennsylvania license as an Occupational Therapist (OT) required
🔹 Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred

Registration is OPEN! Join us on October 10th, 2026, for our first ever Walk A Mile in Their Shoes event during at Ursinus College.

Proceeds from the event will go directly to support Laurel House’s domestic violence shelter and supportive services. Each year, Laurel House provides life-saving services to over 2000 individuals in our community who are impacted by domestic violence.
