Sometimes hiring is not a talent problem.
It is a decision problem.

Let me give you a real example we are seeing right now.

A local operation needed 4 production associates.

They interviewed 7 people.
Passed on 5 because they were “not quite right.”
Held out for perfect.

Six weeks later:
• Overtime costs increased
• Supervisors were back on the floor

• Production slipped

The irony?

Two of the candidates they passed on were fully capable of doing the job with 2 weeks of structured onboarding.
