Sacnas DMV Welcome to SACNAS DMV! This group is an open forum for all the members of SACNAS in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area. Once again, welcome to SACNAS DMV!

SACNAS DMV is a group that seeks to gather the three major chapters of the DMV: University of Maryland (College Park), NIH, and NOVA. Our mission is to "foster the success of Chicano/Hispanic and Native American scientists to attain advanced degrees, careers, and positions of leadership in science" (SACNAS.org). The DC, Maryland, and Virginia metropolitan areas are large and diverse, full of innov

ation potential and scientists of all trades and origins. This Facebook group's goals are to strengthen the bonds within all the DMV chapters, increase the number of inter-chapter events, enhance our community outreach, and increase our SACNAS membership.
