Stats the we hope to change

- Just 5% of students end up enrolling in college.

- Spending on education, on average for a country in sub saharan Africa, is around 5-10% of total gdp.

- the average student to teacher ratio in a 5th grade classroom in this region is 42:1.

The way we plan on solving these education issues include:

- taking money from donors and using it in a multitude of different ways to help the sub saharan region of Africa develop

- We will provide incentive for young, educated adults leaving college to get their degree in education by paying for part of their education

- We will use part of the money to provide children at all levels materials necessary to learn and grow as students and human beings

- We will use the last chunk of money to part of the salary of entry level teachers entering the workforce

But using these tactics we hope to
incentivize the growth of education in sub in order to. Fear a massive change we will focus on a small pocket of the region and then continually grow as each country is able to fund this project themselves.

Our main goal is to fix the education system is sub saharan Africa.

Problems facing our movement include:

There is an overall lack of commitment to education in the sub saharan region of Africa. Only 2 countries in the region that provide any loans to students to help them get an education. It is impossible to think that a region will rise out of poverty without the desire to educate the coming generations. Not only is there a lack of education opportunity at the top, it mainly starts at the bottom. The teachers in this region of Africa don’t have the training to teach at a high level, nor are they payed in a way that would incentivise young adults to enter that profession
