Now Hiring: Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor
Location: Staten Island, NY
1st Year Total Compensation: $140K–$165K+

We are seeking a veteran as a hands-on Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Supervisor to lead a team of skilled technicians in a fast-paced industrial production environment. This is a non-exempt supervisory role with overtime eligibility and strong bonus potential.

Compensation Highlights:
- Base Salary: $100K–$114K
- Monthly & Quarterly Bonuses: Typically ~25% of base pay
- Overtime: ~$25K/year (weekday and occasional Saturdays)
- 1st Year Total Comp: Minimum $140K, with potential up to $165K+

Schedule:
- Day Shift: 6:45 AM – 5:00 PM
- OT during the week + some Saturdays
- On-call rotation every 4–5 weeks (once fully trained)

The Role:
This is not a desk-only position. Our client's team believes in leading from the front. You will be expected to demonstrate technical competency in the field and earn the respect of your team through action.

You will supervise approximately 8 E&I Technicians (4 on days, 4 on off-shifts) and be responsible for:
- Direct supervision of union hourly personnel (non-union supervisory role)
- Ensuring safety is the top operational priority
- Coordinating and scheduling daily/weekly maintenance work
- Monitoring crew performance and administering corrective action when necessary
- Conducting equipment failure analysis and maintaining accurate ex*****on reports
- Responding appropriately to emergencies
- Ensuring training compliance across the team

If the plant isn’t running efficiently, no one wins. Leadership here understands that production and maintenance are directly tied to profitability—and supervisors are expected to operate with that mindset.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 5+ years of industrial E&I experience (required)
- Strong background with:
- PLC systems (Allen-Bradley preferred)
- Distributed Control Systems (ABB DCS highly preferred)
- Industrial controls & instrumentation
- Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting ability with solid mechanical aptitude
- Working knowledge of electrical components in industrial settings
- Self-motivated, decisive, and comfortable holding personnel accountable
- Military leadership experience is highly valued, particularly candidates with Nuclear Electrician’s Mate (EMN) or Electrician's Mate (EM) backgrounds—however, industrial E&I controls experience is mandatory.
