Cities of Bluffton, Hilton Head and Beaufort please help me congratulate Tanner Hornsby of May River High School Bluffton, SC. Tanner enlisted into the United States Navy and received admission into the SECF (Submarine Electronics Computer Field).
He signed a 5 year contract with a $15,000 signing bonus and guaranteed "A" school. Congrats again Tanner!

Eugene Lucas Jr., was sworn in by his father CWO4 Eugene Lucas Sr.(Ret) of the United States Marines Corps this Tuesday at Recruiting Station Beaufort. What a moment for you and your family. Congratulations and see you in the fleet!

I remember being a skinny kid (6'1") from Tampa, FL. Awkward and not skilled in sports. Of course I got picked on allot. Later I was invited to the Orlando Magic basketball teen camp and I grew 2 inches that summer(6'3"). I didn't tell anyone I trained with professionals. I made sure I dunked on everyone who ever disrespect me. Real hard, afterwards some guys bought my lunch. Moral of the story? DON'T EVER LET ANYONE CAUSE YOU TO DOUBT YOURSELF, PROVE THEM WRONG!

I still remember the look on their faces when I dunk on them...hard..real hard. 😁🏀
