Your new safety candidate has over 10 years of relevant experience and a stack of the best credentials. Send them the offer, right?

Wrong.

First, you have to screen for all the things a certification can't measure:

🟢 How does high-pressure affect their judgement?
🟢 Do they walk the floor or hide in their office?
🟢 Can they get along with a variety of personality types?
🟢 Did their former crews respect them?

Finding qualified hires is critical, but it's not the only phase of safety recruitment.
