General Manager – Resort Development & Operations
One of our client is building a new resort and seeks a proven leader to oversee its development and operations. Must have 15-20+ years in resort/hospitality, Along with experience in launching a resort from scratch & overseeing the construction, opening, and ongoing management of the resort, with responsibilities across F&B, front-office, and back-office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead full-lifecycle resort development: planning, construction, and opening.
Define operational strategy, set standards, and oversee all departments (F&B, front office, back office, housekeeping, engineering, guest services).
Manage F&B operations: concept development, menu design, vendor sourcing, cost controls, service standards, staff training.
Oversee front-office operations including reception, guest check-in/out, reservations, guest relations.
Manage back-office/support operations: finance, HR, procurement, payroll, administration, IT systems, asset management.
Lead departmental heads, set KPIs, monitor performance, and deliver on the P&L for the property.
Drive revenue growth and profitability via budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and revenue optimization across rooms, F&B, and events.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, health & safety, labour law and licensing requirements.
Build a high-performance team and culture of guest satisfaction, quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder management: investors/owners, local authorities, suppliers, community, guests.
Monitor and report key operational metrics, guest feedback, financial performance, and construction/milestone progress (during build phase) and implement corrective action.
