There’s something about Savile Row in London that has always fascinated me. It’s not just the history or the tailoring, it’s the level of craftsmanship, patience, and personal attention behind every piece. You can immediately feel that these garments were made specifically for the individual, not simply produced to follow trends.
In many ways, it reminds me of private service itself. The best experiences are always thoughtful, personal, and built around the individual rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. That’s also why I appreciate the work of Christopher Schafer Clothier here in Baltimore. Their dedication to fit, fabric, and craftsmanship reflects many of the same values that made Savile Row legendary. https://christopherschafer.com
Even today, in a world focused on speed and convenience, true craftsmanship still stands out quietly on its own.
