Long Island Women in Tech is a networking group that aims to help the techie ladies of Long Island, NY network, learn and grow in our technology roles while staying close to home. We are working to breathe new life into tech on Long Island by fostering technical education, sessions on software design and development, meetings on product management and ownership, discussions on agile framework, UX

and usability design, becoming a tech leader, mentorship and sponsorship and more. We are 800+ Women and Men in Tech

Our organization is open to professional women in all levels of their careers whether they are in technology today or pursuing a technology role in the future. We also invite students interested in a technical or computing career. Men in Tech who support diversity are very welcome to attend our events as well. There is no standard for 'how technical' you have to be to join this group. We have members from advanced engineers to folks just starting out so just join in on one of our online sessions or stop by one of our Meet Ups to see if it's the right fit for you! ​
