Darby Day Staffing is now hiring Maintenance Technicians for the 1st and 3rd shift.

Maintenance Technicians ($18+ OT) – COMPANY LOCATED IN NORTH AUSTIN, TX 78754
Roles and Responsibilities:
Job Summary / Overview:
Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing and/or system operations, such as working with engineers and manufacturing in set-up and calibration tasks, system support, preventative maintenance, failure analysis, documenting/following standard operating procedures, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the process and production of memory chips and logic. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct in-line adjustments to products, instruments, equipment, or processes.
Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Requires compliance with all health, safety, and environmental management system guidelines.
Specific Job Duties:
Change Point Management (CPM)/System Maintenance: Follows standard operating procedures to ensure equipment/ processes/systems are running effectively.
o Troubleshooting: Conducts failure analysis and follows scripts to troubleshoot and anticipate future failures.
o Monitor Equipment/Process: Monitors equipment and processes in current state and proactively looks for ways to improve processes.
Work inside a fab environment, wearing a fab suit for entire shift.
Teamwork and Communication: Able to work well in a team environment and effectively communicate throughout organization.
Skills and Qualifications:
Associates degree or other technical certification. Experienced Pharmacy Tech, Dental Assistant or other medical technologist (external equivalent). or 4 years equivalent technical Military service (Aviation Electronics, Navy Nuke, etc.)
• CMP 300mm experience a big plus!
• Familiarity with SPC methods and implementation
• Highly capable in MS Word, Excel and Power Point
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to procedure changes also required.
• Must have strong communication, teamwork, analytical and problem solving skills
• Focused on continuous improvement in fast-paced, changing environment
• High level of initiative and desire to learn
• Familiar with TPM concepts
• Successful candidates will be detail and task oriented and place high value on customer service, team work and flexibility.
• Ability to meet due dates for action items
• Successful candidates will strictly adhere to SOPs.
• Reliable and punctual attendance required.
• Work off-hours if necessary
• Electro-mechanical aptitude, Basic understanding of hand tools, pneumatics, and electricity
Additional Criteria:
* Respond refill, drain, leak check, audit (PCS) and part replacement based on level of skill
* Daily task – Coolant level tracking sheets
* FSR CPM – Need to CPM by due date (3days) after FSR date
* After CPM, FSR needs to be dropped off at the PCS office and needs a signature from PCS Engineer.
* Bring it back to the office for scan CPM.
* Compressor vibration check, chiller level label check and coolant amount (Main & CU)
* Organize: Cage, tool boxed, tools, coolant, and broken parts
* Participate in upcoming projects with an engineer (Coolant cap)
* Covid Vaccination is mandatory (Need copy of the proof)
* Steel toe safety shoes mandatory
* Need OSHA-10 certificate (After interview, we can provide the online course) if you do not have general purpose OHSA-10 certificate
* Need Work Protocol online training after background check
* Sometimes need to lift up to 50lbs.
1. Day Shift: 7:00AM - 7:00PM (4 days a week)
2. Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (4 days a week)
For the night shift, training will be during the day
Pay: $18/hour (For night shift and weekend work, 10% more.)
