Tarvos Talent welcomes our newest Direct Hire Recruiting Associate, Kent Ingram!

In this role, he specializes in partnering with organizations to fill their Finance and Accounting positions with high-quality candidates. Prior to joining Tarvos, Kent worked in professional services for 11 years. He spent his first four years as an external auditor with Deloitte and Pricewaterhouse, before transitioning to consulting. Over the past seven years, he directed complex consulting engagements, developed junior staff, and grew the business of a small education consulting firm based in Austin.

Kent is a Texas native, originally from Mesquite, TX, and graduated from Texas Tech University with a bachelor’s in accounting and from the University of Texas with a master’s in accounting. Kent and his wife, Natalia, love traveling, watching the Red Raiders, and hanging out with their golden-doodle, Brixton.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Tax Accountant to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation, filing, and review of federal, state, and local tax returns, as well as assisting with tax planning and compliance initiatives. You will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate reporting while identifying opportunities to improve tax efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review corporate income tax returns and related filings.
- Support quarterly and annual tax provision calculations (ASC 740).
- Maintain tax records and documentation for audits and regulatory compliance.
- Assist with tax planning strategies and research on tax regulations.
- Reconcile tax general ledger accounts and assist with financial statement reporting.
