Just wrapped up my bachelor party in Breckenridge with 11 of my closest friends this weekend.
To kick off the weekend, I shared with everyone that the oldest friendship in that room started just 6 years ago.
For better or worse, I have shed nearly every friend I had from my early 20s and before.
When I was 23 I was hyper anxious, had no confidence and was abusing drugs and alcohol.
I went to a self development seminar and had the aha moment that if I wanted to become someone I was proud of, I needed to surround myself with epic people who all inspire me to be the best man I can be.
These pictures might look a little degenerate, but the reality was that every man here is very successful, has a huge heart, is devoted to pursuing God in their own way, and are genuinely authentic and supportive men.
We played brolympics (shoutout for organizing) where we chopped wood for time, cold plunge relay race, push up contest, basketball, flip cup, arm wrestling, beer pong and more.
We went white water rafting and we spend a morning doing an intentional mastermind where each man got 30 minutes of devoted time with the group to get support on whatever their biggest challenge was in life.
We stayed up late playing poker and having deep talks about God, our faith, our dreams, our struggles. Nearly every man had a big moment of clarity or breakthrough while we were there.
The theme of the weekend was “threading the needle” - having a ton of fun but making sure we all left the weekend more full, not depleted.
I am beyond grateful for the men that have come into my life over the last 6 years, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without the role that each of you have played in my growth & development during that time.
Love you bros, time to get married! ❤️
