Dick Foster’s Special Kids Rodeo
The Dick Foster Special Kids Rodeo will consist of a simulated rodeo for children with special
needs enjoying events such as the Stick Horse Barrel Race, Dummy Calf Roping, Rocking Bull
Riding and other great rodeo activities. The event is open to all children with special needs under the age of 18 years. Siblings or relatives are not allowed to enter, but can

assist and celebrate theevent with participants. The Dick Foster Special Kids Rodeo will start at “High Noon” and last until 1:00 pm. Participants will be allowed to enter the fairgrounds as early as 11:30 am on Sunday. All participants, parents/guardians, volunteers and personnel will be asked to exit the rodeo arena by 1:30 pm to allow the professional cowboys and cowgirls of the PRCA to perform. Each participant will be given a rodeo ticket for the PRCA performance on Sunday, April 26th at
2:00 pm. All parents/guardians, family or volunteers will be required to purchase a rodeo ticket to stay and enjoy the PRCA rodeo. The arena participants will be asked to leave after the Special Kids event if they do not have a ticket. Pre-sale tickets are available at a discounted price. Participants are encouraged to stay and watch professional cowboys and cowgirls as they compete in many exciting events. Every child is encouraged to participate in each event, but it is not required. Parents and volunteerscan walk through the events with their children. Cowboys and cowgirls will be present to partnerwith participants through the events and teach them about rodeo and the western way of life. Once the completed official entry form and release is processed, parents will receive a confirmationemail. A packet will be mailed with parking information, participant rodeo ticket and further information
