Virtual global Senior Recruiter/Consultant with full cycle sourcing and recruiting experience in the Hospitality, Leisure, Gaming, Healthcare, Telecom, IT/Technical, Financial and Consumer Goods industries. As such I work with Executive Search Firms, Hotels and other Companies. I am looking for a virtual recruitment positions or recruitment projects, contract or permanent ones.
My experience over the years has enabled me to develop recruiting strategies using market data and trend analysis, for the sourcing, evaluation and selection of talent. I accomplish this through a variety of proactive direct sourcing techniques and channels. Among these techniques are direct cold calling to an identified competitive set, extensive social networking (i.e. LinkedIn, Google, Facebook and others), databases mining, Boolean, Bing and Alumni and Association sites. I combine these with methodologies and channels unique to the positions that allow me to identify top talent to fit your recruiting needs. I have exceptional organizational skills with a strong ability to prioritize based on the needs of the business.
I have worked virtually in both a Corporate as well as a retained executive search firm setting, and I am proficient using Microsoft Office i.e. (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). As well, I am knowledgeable in applicant tracking systems (Taleo and PeopleSoft, SPIDER), as well as basic employment laws and compliance issues, including diversity. I continue to stay updated on new laws and trends in hiring and human resources.
In 1998, I was fortunate to be chosen by GTE (now known as Verizon) to develop a Recruiting Department, and in doing so conduct Executive Recruiting for this Fortune 500 Company. In 2000, I then began providing additional support for up to 14 recruiters for an additional two years on the Corporate Recruiting level focusing on technical and field operations recruiting positions.
Through my business and as the Virtual Director of Research and Recruiting for a retained search firm, I have proven expertise in recruiting, along with exceptional sales directed towards customer and candidate relationship management, succession planning, compensation studies, and strong consultative skills in negotiations and business development.
