IEEE Atlanta Women in Engineering

The Atlanta WIE group is focused on encouraging and supporting young women to consider and pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering & Math.

About IEEE Atlanta WIE:

The primary focus of the Atlanta WIE Section is to encourage young women and girls to consider careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). We believe that to meet the future need for workers in STEM fields, we must increase the number of girls who pursue STEM careers. By personally interacting with girls before they start college, we give them the opportunity to meet successful, enthusiastic women who work in STEM fields and can share what they love about their careers. About IEEE:

IEEE is the world’s largest professional association dedicated to advancing technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity. IEEE and its members inspire a global community through IEEE's highly cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities.
