SOLD OUT. And this is exactly the kind of momentum we envisioned.

AAF Atlanta’s award-winning, nationally recognized Inclusion Workshop Lunch Series continues to raise the bar for what inclusion programming can, and should, look like in the advertising industry. Our next workshop, Who’s Behind the Work? Diversity in Creative Production, Cultural Impact & Commercial Performance, presented by Majority, brings together leaders across brand, agency, creative, and education to tackle a critical business question: Who gets to create the work, and who gets the opportunity to build the business behind it?

The response has been clear: the industry wants practical conversations, candid leadership, and actionable solutions. We’re officially SOLD OUT, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring this room together.

And we’re especially proud that this series was recognized with 1st Place in Cornerstone Initiatives & Events: Division 3 in the 2026 AAF National Club Achievement Competition (Ovation Awards).

Thank you to our partners, panelists, and everyone who continues to believe that diversity isn’t a side initiative, it’s a competitive advantage. This is what happens when we build spaces where the industry doesn’t just talk about change. We build it.

Hello AAF Atlanta,

It is an honor to write my first letter to you as President of AAF Atlanta.

I don’t take this responsibility lightly. This organization has been part of Atlanta’s advertising community since 1909—first as the Atlanta Ad Club and now as AAF Atlanta.

For 117 years, agencies, creatives, media professionals, production partners, educators, students, and industry leaders have made this organization what it is. And that is something I want to make clear from the beginning: I work for you, our members.

AAF Atlanta’s mission must always come back to the people and agencies we serve.

You are the ones who create the work, build the businesses, mentor the next generation, and make Atlanta one of the strongest creative communities in the country. Before looking ahead, I want to thank our Immediate Past President, Savannah Powell, for the outstanding job she has done leading this organization. Her time, commitment, and leadership have given us a strong foundation for what comes next.

I also want to thank our board members, past leaders, committee chairs, and volunteers. Much of the work that keeps an organization like this moving happens behind the scenes.

I appreciate every person who has given their time, shared an idea, made an introduction, or simply showed up when help was needed. So, what comes next?

Our focus will be simple: create more value for our members. That means listening to our agencies and professionals and understanding what they need from us. It means building stronger relationships across Atlanta’s creative community, creating meaningful conversations about our industry, and connecting people to opportunities that can move their careers and businesses forward. It also means investing in emerging talent. We want students and young professionals to have a place where they can learn from working professionals, build real relationships, and see a future for themselves in Atlanta’s advertising community.

You will also see more consistent communication, stronger partnerships with other Atlanta organizations, conversations with agency leaders, and programming that brings our community together—from the American Advertising Awards and Super Bowl conversations to events focused on inclusion, advocacy, education, and the future of our industry.

We also want to help tell a bigger story about Atlanta: We are not just a film city, Atlanta is a media city for brands and a full-spectrum creative capital. But none of this is about one president—or even one board. AAF Atlanta belongs to its members. It belongs to the agencies, professionals, partners, educators, and students who continue to invest in this community.
My commitment is to listen, to be present, and to work alongside you.

If we stay focused on serving our members and supporting the agencies and people who make this organization great, I believe the next chapter of AAF Atlanta can be one of our strongest.

Thank you for trusting me with the opportunity to serve. I’m looking forward to what we build together.

Roberto Gomez, Jr.
