Athens Family Resource Center We are the "go to place" for local families. We provide one-on-one support to families in finding solutions to their needs.

We are a home to visiting services such as LAUNCH and CareerLink. We provide the Parents as Teachers Program, which offers home based visitation to Parents of Children 0 to 5 years of age.

The Family Resource Center has begun selling pecans for our "Pecans with a Purpose" event. Please place your order by November 12th for a pre-Thanksgiving Delivery (Nov. 20) or place your order by December 10th for a December 20th delivery. You have a wonderful choice of: Large Dark Chocolate Covered Almonds, Large White Chocolate Covered Pecans, Large Praline Pecans, Large Roasted & Salted Pecans, or Large Plain Unsalted Pecans. All bags are 1lb, wrapped and ready for delivery by Santa, and cost $12.00 each. Please contact the Family Resource Center at 256-230-0880 or a FRC staff member to order these yummy pecans in support of your Family Resource Center.
