Mancan is now hiring for a skilled Tool and Die Maker to join a growing manufacturing team!
📍 Schedule:Monday–Friday
🕗 Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
💲 Pay: Based on experience
👨🏭 Job Type: Full-time
Job Overview:
We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Tool & Die Maker to build, repair, and maintain precision tools, dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures used in daily production. This role requires strong machining knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and with a team.
Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings & CAD files
• Set up and operate manual & CNC machines (lathes, mills, grinders, etc.)
• Build, assemble, and repair tools, dies, and fixtures
• Inspect and test parts to ensure accuracy and quality
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on existing tooling
• Collaborate with engineers & production teams to improve processes
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Qualifications:
• Certified journeyman or completed apprenticeship
• Strong machining and measurement tool knowledge (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
• CNC experience is a plus
• Ability to read complex technical drawings
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to stand for extended periods
