CP&P, a CMC Precast Business stands together in support of everyone impacted by breast cancer. For Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, all products leaving our 4 Charlotte region plants are wearing pink in solidarity of individuals and families affected by this disease.

It has been so inspiring to see all our employees come together to apply each pink stencil with care, ensuring our products raise awareness as they travel across North and South Carolina.

CP&P, a CMC Precast Business welcomed teams from Timmons Group, McKim & Creed, HLA, and the City of Charleston for a tour of our Charleston Pipe and Summerville Precast plants.

Attendees got a firsthand look at the exceptional production and quality standards that set CP&P apart, including a live three-edge bearing test where Class III 18" RCP reached 2.5x its design load.

Tours like this give engineers and infrastructure professionals the opportunity to connect design specifications with real-world manufacturing, testing, and product performance.

📊 Turning data into better performance

The Charleston Team recently expanded Lean Daily Management (LDM) by launching Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), giving operators real-time visibility into performance, availability, and quality.

By tracking OEE on hourly and daily production boards, the team can identify opportunities faster, have more focused conversations, increase leverage with the resources available, and take action where it matters most.

A great example of how behavior-driven informed decision making can drive continuous improvement.
