Blue Ridge Event Staffing has saved my life. A native of Asheville, I spent decades living in NYC and LA, returning to be closer to family in 2011. Finding few jobs offering a living wage, I decided to start a company to fill that void. In LA I worked with Wolfgang Puck doing special events like The Grammys and The Oscars. Meet Mikal and Kelvin, aren't they cute? They were married last fall a little over a year after they met on a job through BRES and they are now our second inter-staff wedding! Though we have a number of married couples on staff, we really love when BRES is part of the meet-cute!
