โ๏ธ HEAT SAFETY IS EVERYONEโS RESPONSIBILITY! ๐ฅต
Texas heat is no joke โ with temperatures reaching 107ยฐF, itโs more important than ever to stay aware, stay hydrated, and look out for one another.
Whether youโre working outdoors, in a warehouse, driving, or moving between hot and cool environments, heat-related illness can happen quickly.
๐ง Drink water regularly โ donโt wait until youโre thirsty.
๐ง Take breaks in shaded or cool areas.
โ ๏ธ Watch for dizziness, nausea, muscle cramps, headaches, confusion, heavy sweating, or a rapid heartbeat.
โก Use electrolytes during periods of heavy sweating.
๐ค Look out for your coworkers and speak up if something doesnโt seem right.
๐จ Never ignore symptoms. Stop, cool down, and get help immediately.
At JPA Workforce, the safety of our clients is a shared responsibility. We encourage everyone to review and share our Texas Heat & Hydration Safety Newsletter and post it where it can easily be seen.
Letโs work together to prevent heat-related incidents and make sure everyone gets home safely. ๐
๐ฌStay cool. Stay hydrated. Stay safe.
