Business Development Manager – Skilled Trades

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team and drive growth in the skilled trades staffing sector. This role focuses on expanding market presence, forging strong client partnerships, and delivering tailored workforce solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Growth: Develop and execute innovative business development strategies to achieve company growth objectives in the light industrial and skilled trades markets.
Market Expansion: Identify and target new business opportunities, markets, and potential clients to expand the company's reach.
Client Engagement: Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
Collaboration: Partner closely with management and recruiting teams to align client needs with workforce solutions.
Market Insights: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, client requirements, and opportunities for growth.
Sales & Negotiations: Lead contract negotiations, close deals, and ensure revenue targets are met or exceeded.
CRM Utilization: Leverage tools such as Bullhorn and Spotio for lead tracking, client engagement, and sales activity management.
Custom Solutions: Collaborate with operations teams to develop customized staffing solutions and ensure project success.
Project Coordination: Ensure seamless communication and coordination between internal teams for successful client delivery.
Qualifications:
Industry Expertise: Minimum of 3 years of experience in staffing, with a strong preference for light industrial or skilled trades sectors.
Sales Proficiency: Demonstrated success in business development, sales, and client relationship management.
Analytical Skills: Deep understanding of market trends, client needs, and competitive positioning.
Communication Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal communication abilities.
Tech Savviness: Proficiency in CRM systems (Bullhorn) and routing software (Spotio).
Team Player: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Adaptability: Skilled at developing strategies that address diverse client challenges and market dynamics.
