We're thrilled to announce that Joseph Mera has been promoted to Value Added Lead! Joseph has worked with the Creekstone family for two years in the Value Added department and is looking forward to this new opportunity, stating, "My goal is to make a difference with the department, one day, one person, and one product at a time. April is recognized as National Child Abuse Prevention Month. This is an annual reminder that we have a role to play in keeping kids safe.

Child abuse can happen in any community, and it's important to always be paying attention and being aware when things seem off with the children in your life. Some signs to look for are changes in behavior, unexplained injuries, or signs of fear—trust your instincts and say something.

Contact the Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline at 1-800-422-4453, which is available 24/7 if you need guidance or want to make a report, or call the Kansas Protection Report Center at 1-800-922-5330.
