Angel Fire's airport is about to be run by Angel Fire!
Colfax County has managed the airport for decades. Now the Village will be taking over, which means we'll make the calls on runways, hangars, flights and the terminal here — with your input.
Advanced Air's Albuquerque flights are also expected back this winter.
What would you like to see out there? Tell us below.

How does the Economic Development Tax work?
It's a gross receipts tax, or GRT. It's added to taxable purchases in the Village: a hotel room, a restaurant meal, a lift ticket, a pair of gloves. It isn't a property tax, and it won't change your home's tax bill.
If voters approve it, Angel Fire's GRT rate would go from 7.9375% to 8.1875%. Everyone who buys taxable goods and services in the Village pays the same rate, including visitors.

Angel Fire has limited space to host conferences, large weddings or winter concerts. A new tax on the Nov. 3 ballot would help fund projects including a proposed Community Event Center.
The ballot question asks whether the Village should add a 0.25% Economic Development Tax. The first planned project is a Community Event Center: meeting rooms, exhibit space and a banquet hall, open all year, on a site south of the current event tent.
It's a gross receipts tax, paid on taxable purchases in the Village by residents and visitors alike. It adds 25 cents to a $100 purchase.
