I Love My Hometown, Anderson SC is for me.
Creativity is on full display at Wren Pavilion! 🎨

Located in the heart of Downtown Anderson, Wren Pavilion serves as a gathering place for community events, public art, and cultural experiences. Each year, the pavilion is transformed into an outdoor gallery featuring artwork created by talented K-12 students from public, private, and homeschool programs across Anderson.

The artwork on display was selected by City staff during Youth Art Month in February and showcases the creativity, imagination, and artistic talent of local students. From bold colors to unique perspectives, each piece helps tell the story of our community through the eyes of its young artists.

Next time you’re downtown, stop by Wren Pavilion and take a look at this year’s collection. Supporting student artists not only celebrates their hard work and creativity, but also helps foster a deeper appreciation for the arts throughout Anderson.

PLEASE tell all of your friends about the Show / Celebration. We want to pack The Square, North Main & South Main from Federal to Market Streets with Show Cars and Visitors for this our 25th Event.

Many families from all around Anderson SC actually Celebrate Father’s Day on Saturday at the show instead of Sunday. This was tradition for my family many years. Everybody is a winner that attends the Day B4 Father’s Day Car Show whether you show a car or come downtown to see and be seen. Always Too Much Fun. Happy Father’s Day & Happy 250th Birthday America. Hope to see you all soon.

This is the first post I saw on my news feed this morning and thought “END ROAD WORK” is not something I wish to see happen in Anderson, South Carolina any time in the near future. If I lived in Greenville SC, Charlotte NC, Atlanta Ga or most other larger cities I think the residents there would probably see the sign and think “END ROAD WORK - Please End up this continuous road work mega-mess” or another angle “END ROAD WORK - They are just standing around I didn’t see anyone working” . Now, living in Anderson SC, I see the sign and think “END ROAD WORK - Oh no, there are way too many more roads that need to be repaired - don’t stop now” and the “Didn’t see anyone working” would not apply to the workers I have seen here. The companies here are doing an excellent job and the workers are staying busy getting the job done. One sign three+ meanings. Thank you, City & County government / planning departments / workers and others for resolving these longtime ignored infrastructure problem areas. Stay Safe and Stay Hydrated construction crews.
